A centre of excellence for Islamic and secular education in the heart of Bwaise, Kampala.
To train future Islamic leaders
To be the premier Islamic secondary school in Uganda, recognised for academic excellence, spiritual strength, and producing leaders who serve their communities with integrity and knowledge.
Bilal Islamic Secondary School was founded by the Muslim community of Bwaise with a singular vision — to give Muslim children in Kampala access to quality education that does not compromise their faith and identity.
Over the past 25+ years, we have grown from a small community school to a fully accredited secondary institution offering both O-Level (UCE) and A-Level (UACE) programmes, as well as the Thanawi (Islamic Secondary) track.
